(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 22 - AstraZeneca has announced that it is working with the University of Oxford to produce a specific vaccine for the Omicron variant of Covid.
The Guardian reports it, citing a press release from the company.
"Together with the University of Oxford, we have started the preliminary steps for the production of a vaccine for the variant Omicron, in case it is necessary and we will follow the data that emerge," the note reads.
