(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, DEC 22 - Omicron frightens and Belgium takes new preventive measures to counter the spread of Covid.
From December 26th Brussels will ban mass events such as Christmas markets and winter villages, indoor shows and congresses, with outdoor restrictions.
Acinema theaters will be closed.
The shops will remain open but with a maximum of two visitors at a time with the guarantee of maintaining the safety distance.
Sporting events will take place in closed doors (ANSA).
