Admittedly, the English prevail over the rest of the world in at least one point: the Christmas lights. While walking New Bond Street again this year, British supremacy dazzles, especially when daylight falls and the storefronts light up in a thousand colors. Nothing, neither the Covid nor the Brexit, seems to be able to start it. Like a giant gift, the Cartier building is wrapped in a large knot of red neon lights; the facade of Ralph Lauren, dressed in dozens of fir trees and sparkling wreaths. A snake of light crawls on the storefront of Bulgari, a multicolored mesh illuminates the walls of Stella McCartney, a moon and Azure clouds surround the Tiffany & Co house… Not to mention the public decorations in the form of giant snowflakes and peacock feathers which shine in the center of the artery.All these majestic decors delight visitors and turn out to be ultra-photogenic on Instagram.
