The expert team advising the Ministry of Health is currently holding a press conference at which it is expected to make a statement to the public, against the background of the continued spread of the Omicron variant and the decision of the Corona Cabinet to launch a fourth booster operation for health care workers and patients with disabilities .
The decision, which has no precedent in the world, was made after it was first reported in Israel Today earlier this month that the Ministry of Health is considering giving a fourth vaccine.
It is estimated that the vaccination campaign will be launched in the coming days.
