Six months after the birth of Lilibet, the Sussexes show their daughter for the first time on social networks, this Thursday, December 23, on the occasion of the publication of their greeting card.

“The first photo of Lilibet (by Alexi Lubomirski),” journalist Max Foster tweeted on Thursday, December 23.

A message featuring a family portrait of the Sussexes, which appears on the couple's Christmas card.

We see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, all smiles, sitting on the porch of their home, in the company of their children.

In the photo, 2-year-old Archie wearing red curls sits on his father's leg.

Like him, he wears a rather casual shirt and bare feet.

But he's a family member who gets more attention than others.

This is indeed the first appearance of Lilibet Diana, the daughter of the princely couple born on June 4.

In the photograph, the 6-month-old girl, dressed in a white romper, smiles as Meghan Markle carries her at arm's length.

In video, "A happy news", Prince Charles expresses himself lip service on the birth of Lilibet-Diana

Family spirit

“Happy New Year's Eve,” the Sussexes write on their greeting card. “This year, in 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, they continue in the official message. Archie made a 'mom' and a 'dad' out of us, and Lili made us family. ” The Sussexes have also announced that they have donated to several charities this holiday season.

"Before moving into 2022, we made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families - from those who have had to leave Afghanistan, to those who need parental leave in the United States." , they explained.

All this, followed by a list of charities such as Paid Leave for All, Team Rubicon or Welcome.US.

The Duchess of Sussex had indeed defended, in a letter addressed to the American Congress, in October, the importance of establishing a national right to parental leave.

“We wish you a happy New Year's Eve and a prosperous New Year, from all of our family to yours!” They concluded.
