(ANSA) - NEW YORK, DECEMBER 23 - The United States could register 140 million new cases of Covid between January 1 and March 1 due to Omicron, with a peak at the end of January of 2.8 million infections a day.
This is what emerges from a study by the University of Washington, which predicts about 3 billion new cases in the world in the next two months with a peak in mid-January of 35 million cases a day.
