With 229 votes in favor, 28 against and no abstentions, the Senate Chamber gives the green light to the decree on the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and for the prevention of mafia infiltrations, the so-called dl recovery.
On the measure, already approved by the Chamber, the government has raised the question of trust and with the OK of Palazzo Madama it becomes law.
The seal on the Recovery bis decree allows the government to "achieve all 51 objectives of the NRP", as announced by Draghi.
And now it will open the door to the signing of the operational agreement with the EU Commission - which should always take place before Christmas - to obtain the first tranche of approximately 40 billion European funds at the beginning of the year.
For the check, however, an "institutional time" of about 3 months will be needed, as specified by EU Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni.
