What if you offered a board game that raises awareness of the carbon footprint? With Carboniq, from the French publisher Eclap, you can play with family and friends, with a view to raising awareness of the issue of CO2 consumption in everyday life. During its Live Shopping, Le Parisien Le Guide presented Carboniq, this new kind of card game that was funded through a crowdfunding campaign last June. The principle of the game is to compare the carbon impact of different activities and social actions, in order to determine which one consumes the most CO2. Players must reduce their impact on the environment while increasing that of their opponents, in order to win the game. 100 different cards are included in the box,and the parties make it possible to launch a discussion on this topic, which is more and more topical.
Carboniq, a committed game for all generations
The maps are very current and speak in particular of the use of streaming platforms, social networks such as Tik-Tok, electric cars or the consumption of meat.
Topics that speak to all generations, and which manage to make Carboniq a particularly fun and instructive game, which contributes to the citizen awakening of each player by confronting them with surprising revelations.
The video of Live Shopping Le Parisien allows you to discover some examples of cards, as well as the rules of the game.
