France over 100 thousand Covid infections for the first time

(ANSA) - PARIS, DEC 25 - France breaks through the threshold of 100 thousand Covid infections in 24 hours, an absolute first since the beginning of the pandemic.

The new cases registered are exactly 104,611, according to data published tonight by the French public health agency.

The threshold of 50,000 infections was exceeded on 4 December: the number therefore doubled in the space of three weeks.
