Recall at Aldi Nord: Affected mulled wine bottles can explode
There are many reasons for a recall: In the case at hand, the mulled wine bottles could explode.
As Aldi * reports in the official announcement on the recall of the mulled wine, yeast residues were found in individual bottles.
It can therefore not be ruled out that a fermentation process will occur in the affected bottles.
This can cause the bottles to burst due to the resulting overpressure.
Consumers are at risk from the possible explosion of the bottle.
Aldi Nord * therefore asks to return the affected item in a sealed bag to the branch of your choice.
The purchase price will be refunded.
Aldi Nord takes mulled wine out of the sale after being recalled
After the supplier was recalled, Aldi Nord took the affected product out of sale as a precaution.
This train serves preventive consumer protection, explains the Aldi team.
Other items from supplier CA Warren are not affected by the recall.
Most recently, there was a Germany-wide recall of jam *: The reason was a significant deficiency in quality control.
A sausage product also had quality defects: the tea sausage was recalled because of proven Listeria *.
