(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 26 - Two members of the Russian punk female group Pussy Riot went on strike in the Moscow prison where they are currently being held.

They ask to be locked up in the same cell so that they can communicate with each other, according to the human rights information site Ovd-Info.


    The two women have been detained for two weeks.

Criticism of the Russian regime, Pussy Riot is regularly subject to arrest and conviction by the Russian authorities.
