USA: Woman kills boyfriend with sword

In the US state of Missouri, a woman is charged with killing her boyfriend with a sword on Christmas Eve.

According to Cape Girardeau police, 32-year-old Brittany Wilson was found with blood on her clothes in front of the house she shared with her boyfriend last Friday night.

There was a sword in the front yard.

As the TV broadcaster KFVS reported, according to the AP news agency, the woman called the police shortly after 11 p.m. and said that she had killed her boyfriend with a sword.

After the police arrested Wilson, they went into the house to find their friend, 34-year-old Harrison Stephen Foster, dead and with several fresh stab wounds.

Woman believed that someone who was killed was possessed by other beings

Wilson told police that she and Foster had been taking methamphetamine earlier in the day.

She also told investigators that she believed Foster had multiple beings residing in his body and that she wanted to free him by stabbing him.

Wilson is charged with first degree murder and armed criminal acts.

The police from Cape Girardeau shared a statement on Saturday including the police photo of the alleged perpetrator about the incident on Facebook.
