Messenger services have recently been in focus due to the spread of hatred, hate speech and fake news.
WhatsApp is testing a new feature to control group chats.
Mountain View - WhatsApp competitor Telegram is under observation by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, politicians are calling for restrictions and in some cases even a complete ban on the messenger service.
The company from Dubai is doing nothing against the dissemination of constitutionally critical content.

In group chats, admins should now be able to moderate the content of the chat a little.
The new function is still being tested.
WhatsApp: Special rights for group chat admins
Deleting sent messages has been possible in normal chats for some time. A message can be erased from both your own chat and the recipient within seven days. What remains: Only the note “This message has been deleted.” This was previously not possible in group chats: That could change now. As the portal
WABetaInfo
reports, there is a beta test version of WhatsApp in which group admins can now delete messages.
The function allows the group boss to remove individual messages in the group chat.
There is also a small hint that the message has been deleted, who originally wrote it and who deleted it.
This tool is intended to give group administrators the ability to moderate the conversation in the group.
