(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 27 DEC - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reduces the isolation for those who are positive for Covid and asymptomatic from 10 to 5 days.
"The change is motivated by the fact that science tells us that transmission occurs in the two days before symptoms and in the 2-3 days after," says the CDC, recommending that five days of isolation be followed by five more days in which the mask is worn when is close to other people.
