"Complementary" measures

“As a continuation of the arrangements already made, in particular the closing of nightclubs, we have today adopted the following additional measures, which will apply from next Monday for a period of three weeks: to slow down Omicron, standing concerts will be prohibited.

The consumption of drinks and food will be prohibited in all cinemas, theaters, sports facilities and public transport, including long distances, ”the Prime Minister enumerated.

In addition, large gatherings will also be limited to a tonnage of 2,000 people indoors, 5,000 outdoors.

No curfews or gauges were announced, even on New Year's Eve, much to the relief of shopkeepers and restaurateurs.
