Every time I walk around the market or at the jade, I find it hard to resist them and not buy.
Red and bright, they call me to put them in the basket.
Sometimes I buy completely for no reason, even when there is at home.
My uncontrollable strawberry purchases often end in a strawberry-decorated cake, making a green salad with strawberry vinaigrette, sometimes in a few jars of red jam or, like this time, in cookies.

Thanks to the juice of the strawberry soaked in the oats and thanks to the short baking they get a cakey and slightly tender character.

Ingredients
2 cups cookie flour (280 g)
1 bag of baking powder (10 g)
Thin oatmeal (for quick preparation)
¾ Cup sugar (150 g)
100 grams of soft butter
⅔ Cow's milk
100 grams of chocolate chips or coarsely chopped dark chocolate
2 cups strawberries cut into small cubes

Preparation
How to make strawberry and chocolate cookies?
1 Preheat oven to 180 degrees and prepare 2 pans lined with baking paper.
2 In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, oatmeal and sugar.
3 Add the butter to the dried bowl and pour it in with a spatula or fingertips until a crumbly dough is formed.
4 Add the milk, chocolate and strawberries alternately and mix to obtain as uniform a mass as possible.

Using two teaspoons, form round cookies and arrange on baking paper, keeping spaces between them.

Put in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden (longer baking will result in a more crispy and less tender cookie).
Cool well and keep in an airtight box.
Storage:
The soft cookies will keep for up to two to three days, while the crispiness will last for about a week.

You can replace the strawberries with bananas, blueberries, raspberries, raisins or cranberries.
