It was with French songs that he won over the jury.
The French Antoine Wend, unknown in our region, won Sunday the Lithuanian edition of the talent show "X Factor", "X Faktorius".
Aged 27, from Rouen (Seine-Maritime), the French had registered with the pianist Mindaugas Pundzius, Lithuanian him, met a few months earlier.
As Le Figaro reminds us, Antoine Wend stood out from the start of the competition with his interpretation of “Sos of a landowner in distress” by Daniel Balavoine. A very French song, with perfectly mastered vocalizations, which had greatly moved the jurors. Throughout his career in the show, the Frenchman has helped spread French culture by singing "Je suis sick" by Serge Lama or "All the Universe" by Gjon's Tears. Each week, out of the eight that the show lasted, the Frenchman managed to rank at the top of the public vote.
“I have no words to express my gratitude.
You are making our dream come true and this is just the beginning, ”the young singer wrote on Instagram.
“My plan is to stay in Lithuania and make music with Mindaugas until the end of January.
After that I will return to France for a short period and see with the team how I can work in both countries.
I am not going to leave Lithuania, ”Antoine Wend explained to TV3, which broadcasts the program.
And the Frenchman also explains wanting to drop his architectural studies to focus on music.

Above all, the duo enjoys enormous visibility.
A good start for Antoine Wend who plans to release his next EP, "Golden Hearth", very soon.
