The omicron wave continues to spread in Israel: The
Ministry of Health announced today (Tuesday) that 623 new verified variants have been identified for the omicron variant in Israel.
To date, 1,741 verified persons have been identified in the country, of whom 1,004 have returned from abroad. An 84-year-old woman who died is suspected of being a micron (vaccinated including a booster).
There are currently eight hospitalized patients admitted to Omicron:
