(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, DEC 27 - The United States and Russia will start negotiations on January 10 on tensions in Ukraine and on nuclear weapons control: a spokesman from the White House for security issues told AFP.
"The United States is eager to enter into a dialogue with Russia," said the spokesperson for the National Security Council.
A meeting between Russia and NATO could then take place on January 12, followed on January 13 by a meeting between Russia and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which includes the United States, the spokesman added.
