Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will not be on the bench for the Premier League match against Manchester City next Saturday, January 1, after testing positive at Covid-19.
It is the second time for the Spanish coach, who was also infected in March 2020. But Arteta is not the only positive among the Gunners, having followed the fate of defenders Calum Chambers, Cedric Soares, Takehiro Tomiyasu and midfielder Ainsley Maitland- Niles.
Despite this, Arsenal have won their last four league games and are fourth in the standings, 12 points behind leaders City.
