(ANSA) - TURIN, DEC 29 - For months she was forced to send intimate photos and videos. Child pornography material that the virtual 'boyfriend' threatened to run online if she didn't send more. Victim of this nightmare was a minor resident in Turin, who had met her rectifier on social media, apparently her same age, saved by her father who discovered the blackmail and told everything to the police. The 'boyfriend' was sued for production and sale of child pornography material; during the searches, carried out throughout Italy, about three hundred images with child pornography content were seized.
After gaining the trust of the little girl, the 'boyfriend', whom the young woman never knew personally, by manipulating her psychologically, he managed to have special photos and videos shot by the same victim sent to him. Images that he said he was ready to make public, if the young woman had not continued to send him other material.
To discover the blackmail was the father of the girl who, checking her daughter's social account, noticed those requests. The attempt to try to stop him with dialogue was useless, so the parent turned to the police station ofRivoli.
The work of the agents, coordinated by the Prosecutor of the Juvenile Court of Turin, was "complex given the dense network of information technology, dotted with legal barriers made up of 'accounts' and 'log files'", explains the Turin Police Headquarters.
But after months of work, the investigators managed to give a name and a face to the 'boyfriend', who was denounced.
