Covid: positive records, almost 127,000 in 24 hours

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 30 - Record of positives today in Italy: 126,888 cases of Covid identified in the last 24 hours.

   Yesterday there were 98,020 cases.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, the victims are 156, while yesterday they were 136.

    The swabs carried out are 1,150,352, yesterday they were 1,029,429.

The positivity rate is 11.03%, up from 9.5% yesterday.

There are 1,226 (yesterday 1,185) intensive care patients in Italy, 41 more in 24 hours in the balance between entries and exits.

Daily admissions are 134. Hospitalized with symptoms in ordinary wards are 10,866 (yesterday10,578), 288 more than yesterday (ANSA).
