The fifth wave continues to spread:
Tonight (Thursday), the Ministry of Health published a picture of the outbreak of the corona virus in Israel as of 5:28 p.m.
According to the data as of today, 3,212 new carriers have been identified in Israel, which is 3.08 percent out of 135,405 new tests.
Yesterday, 4,053 new carriers were identified in Israel, which is 2.98 percent of 176,295 new tests.
The coefficient of infection now stands at 1.62 with the number of active carriers standing at 22,070 people, of whom 92 are hospitalized in critical condition and 38 are respirators.
There is a slight increase in the number of patients in a serious condition that lasts from Monday, when their number stood at 87 patients.
The death toll from the plague stands at 8,243 people.

At the same time, the heads of the health system held a special press conference tonight.
Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, the ministry's director general, Prof. Nachman Ash, head of public health services, Dr. Sharon Elrai Price and Corona projector, Prof. Salman Zarka, addressed the expected steps of the system and the instructions required from the public.
The director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, explained that at this stage there is no limit to the number of participants in open spaces, but a decision has been made pending approval, which will give the participation of one hundred people and more green. It is now mandatory to wear masks in the open in gatherings of more than 50 people.
Meanwhile, after negotiations led by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, the first shipment of Pfizer into the corona virus landed in Israel today.
