The American actress Betty White has died at the age of 99.
The "People Magazine" reports, citing White's agents and the Washington Post.
White became world famous for her portrayal of the widow Rose Nylund from the US television series "Golden Girls".
In the series, which was filmed from 1985 to 1992, four aging women live together in a shared apartment.
White died just three weeks before her 100th birthday, according to People Magazine.
