Guidelines for receiving the fourth vaccine
The Ministry of Health yesterday issued guidelines for receiving the fourth dose of vaccine, according to which the vaccine will be given to patients with malignant diseases, organ transplants, patients with autoimmune and rheumatological diseases - provided that four months have passed since the third dose.
In addition, a physician may, at his or her discretion, recommend the vaccine to a vaccinated patient.
It can be vaccinated with Pfizer, Modern and Astraznica, but there is a preference for the type in which the previous doses were given.

At a press conference held earlier tonight, Ministry of Health Director General Prof. Nachman Ash said that “the advisory team of experts recommended a fourth vaccine for immunosuppressed people, those aged 60 and over and health system workers.
We know the omicron causes mild morbidity, the question is how much.
"As long as we estimate that the risk is high, we will approve the fourth vaccine."
Prof. Ash stressed: "I have approved the administration of the fourth vaccine to those who have been vaccinated, in light of the fear that they are more vulnerable in the omicron outbreak. We will continue to monitor the data and review the decision daily and whether we are required to expand the recommendation."
