(ANSA) - NAPLES, 01 JAN - Barrels and fireworks greeted the arrival of the new year in Naples, despite the ordinance that forbade them issued by the mayor Gaetano Manfredi.
The same, moreover, happened in several other centers of the province where similar provisions had been issued.
The provision entered into force from 4 pm yesterday and remained valid until next midnight, but already from yesterday afternoon, even if with different intensity compared to the approach of the new year, loud explosions had begun to be felt in the various districts of the city.
