The successful model and 37-year-old businesswoman has managed to upgrade her style status over the past two years and position herself as the undisputed casual-chic queen, known for her fondness for denim (of luxury brands of course).

Bar Refaeli

manages to turn almost every one of her appearances in jeans, whether public or her sweet Instagram feed, into a hot discourse in the local fashion scene and even brings in a line, or at least manages to restore a crown to old-fashioned trends left behind, just as she did in the glittering New Year's outfit.

Happy New Year sweetie!

The esteemed stylist Simon Elmalm put on a crazy swan outfit from Factory 54 brands that dress her frequently, creating a sexy yet restrained look for the New Year’s Eve celebration.

In the fine Lewis / jeans of RE / DONE, an American brand that renews iconic denim into a unique piece, which thanks to the fact that they are oversized revealed a shapely lower abdomen and formed an excellent indigo basic canvas for the other shiny items that joined its end-of-year celebration.

A gorgeous YSL sequin wrap shirt gave a glimpse of a rival sexy Berlet, an all-over crystal bag studded with the boiling brand Alexander Wong, triangle-shaped statement earrings, and a classic black belt that jumped even more the perfect pair of jeans in the first place.

The nineties phenomenon we loved to hate, namely the low-waisted jeans that belong to the so-called Y2K fashion, wound up in our lives in the debut collection of the late Alexander McQueen in 1993 and ruled with a high hand (i.e. low waist) for an entire decade.

While most of us would have been happy to leave it behind, along with the rest of our dubious high school experiences, it seems the low-jeans trend here is to stay and the good news?

This time she comes back with a more correct and restrained silhouette when the secret is first, not to choose a proper proper cut but on the contrary - to go for mid rise jeans with a straight silhouette (not a pedalphone) and take it to a degree or two above your regular learning, which will create a loose buggy silhouette.

Second, opt for pants that are clean of excessive tears, elemental fuss and other vegetables.

Third, team the jeans to a shirt of the right length, striving for a small but sufficiently present space between the jeans and the top.

In fact in the last three years fashion forecasts have repeatedly promised (or threatened, depending on who asks) that the infamous low-rise jeans will soon return to our closets, but the audience has stumbled and pretty much ignored as women preferred to stay with the comfortable and safe cut that embraces medium to high waists, and only a handful Fascists and celebrities have experimented with the trend.

As early as last November, when we interviewed Marie Nielsen, the concept designer at the Stockholm headquarters of End Adar Stories on the occasion of the opening of stores in the Azrieli malls in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, she warned that the waistline, which has been high for a long time, is slowly declining. The fashion runways that recently showcased the Ready To Wear collections left no room for doubt that the renewed trend is here to stay (as long as we agree to indulge or experience it of course) as seen in the Missoni, Blumerin, Vaquera, Molly Goddard and MSGM shows for spring 2022.
