(ANSA) - VARESE, 02 JAN - A 40-year-old man killed his 7-year-old son last night in his home in the province of Varese in Morazzone. Then he went to Gazzada, also in the Varese area, and tried to kill his ex-wife who was staying with his parents. The carabinieri stopped him.
The father hid the child's body in the closet at home after reaching him with a slash in the throat. Then the man, unprejudiced to house arrest, got into the car and drove to the house of his wife's parents, where he tried to stab her too, perhaps using the same weapon used to kill his son. He injured her not badly and then fled. The carabinieri tracked him down at dawn today.
