(ANSA) - AREZZO, 02 JAN - About 300 young people identified by the police among the participants in the rave party on the Alpe di Poti, above Arezzo, which went on for about 20 hours before the evacuation, from the evening of 31 December to the afternoon of New Year's Eve . The 300 will have to respond, in addition to the violation of the anti Covid rules, of occupation of public land and invasion of land and buildings. The measures are being verified.
The place chosen for the rave is the old Fontemura water plant with the surrounding land. The area is affected by a bankruptcy. The trustee in bankruptcy must decide whether to lodge a complaint.
The rave party ended around 5 pm on January 1st and the participants who had remained - the maximum peak according to the law enforcement agencies was 500 people from all over Italy - left the area and were identified by the law enforcement forces that presided over the Alpe di Poti immediately from the evening of December 31st.
The mayor of Arezzo Alessandro Ghinelli complimented the police and the prefect Maddalena De Lucade calling the operation "flawless".
