Kazuyoshi Miura does not stop.
The Japanese soccer star, who turns 55 in February, will continue to play in the Japanese fourth division: 'King Kazu', as he is nicknamed in his country, is training in Osaka and is confident that he will be able to play until he is 60.
A wish that could come true as he prepares to join the Suzuka Point Getters of the Japan Football League (JFL).
"I want a club with a clear vision, capable of always playing to win" said the player ready to face the new challenge.
Last year, Miura had already improved his record as the oldest footballer in Japan by playing in the J-League (P1) for Yokohama FC.
Recognized as one of the most popular Asian players of the 1990s, Miura began his career with Brazilian club Santos in 1986. He also wore the Genoa shirt, played in Croatia and Australia scoring 222 goals in 853 games.
