(ANSA) - TAIPEI, 03 JAN - A 6.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the east coast of Taiwan, causing strong tremors in the capital Taipei.
This was reported by the Central Weather Bureau.
"The quake lasted a good 20 seconds with the ground moving left and right," said an AFP reporter in Taipei.
