Afghan secret service employees dumped around 3,000 liters of alcohol into a canal in Kabul.
The barrels with the smuggled alcohol were confiscated in the course of a raid in the capital, the secret service said on Twitter.
Three men were arrested in connection with this.
A video shows several men emptying six barrels into a canal.
The Taliban have been cracking down on the illegal sale of alcohol since they came to power.
"Muslims really need to stay away from the manufacture and supply of alcohol," the published video reads.
The sale and consumption of alcohol were also banned under the previous Taliban government.
However, the Islamists are taking much stricter action against it.
Since they came to power in mid-August, the number of police raids across the country has increased.
The Taliban also repeatedly target drug addicts.
