Frenchman Sébastien Loeb (Prodrive) won the second stage of the Dakar 2022 rally-raid in the car category, a 338 km special between Ha'il and al-Qaisumah (north-east).
With 3 '28' 'ahead of Qatari Nasser al-Attiyah (Toyota), Loeb did not manage to' steal 'the first place overall and remains second in the standings at 9:16.
"The track was good and always visible, in the end it became a special WRC between two WRC drivers. We were at full capacity, I was able to glean little by little, probably helped by the fact that the track was opening up" said the Frenchman upon arrival.
