(ANSA) - PARIS, 03 JAN - The President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, still not officially a candidate for re-election, is clearly in the lead in the first round of the April presidential elections, according to a new poll by OpinionWay-Kéa Partners for the newspaper Les Echos.
According to the survey, 26% of voting intentions converge on Macron.
Followed, very detached, are the candidates of the right of the Républicains, Valérie Pécresse, and that of the Assembly National, Marine Le Pen, both with 16%.
Politician Eric Zemmour, also far-right, would have 13% of the vote.
Followed by Jean-Luc Mélenchon (radical left of La France Insoumise) with 9%, the ecologist Yannick Jadot (7%) and the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo (Socialist Party) with 6%.
