George RR Martin enthusiastic about "House of the Dragon": "Just the way I like my fantasy"

The “Game of Thrones” prehistory “House of the Dragon” is to finally be broadcast in 2022.
Author George RR Martin commented on the first episode.
The fantasy series "House of the Dragon" is based on the novel "Fire & Blood" by George RR Martin from 2018. It tells the story of the House of Targaryen.
This takes place about 300 years before the events in "Game of Thrones" *.
After the US broadcaster HBO wasted millions on a canceled prequel, it only makes sense that the author wanted to take a look at the 10-part series "House of the Dragon" himself.

While the first attempt to tell the story behind "Game of Thrones" failed, "House of the Dragon" seems to be convincing.

About the producers Ryan J. An exact start date for "House of the Dragon" is not yet known.
The first trailer from the beginning of October 2021 only indicates that the premiere is planned for 2022.
