From Wednesday the rains return to some regions while from the day of the Epiphany even colder.
Antonio Sanò, director and founder of the site www.iLMeteo.it warns that the atmospheric situation in Italy will not change until Tuesday 5 January. Speaking jokingly we can say that the Epiphany takes away the anticyclone (in addition to the holidays, as the popular saying goes).The perturbation will reach the north on Tuesday evening with gradually more widespread rains that from the western sectors will carry in the night towards the eastern ones. On Wednesday the perturbed front, fed by cold air at high altitude and driven by intense Libeccio and Scirocco winds, will pass north and over Tuscany, Umbria and locally Lazio with rain and snow on the Alps even below 500 meters.
