On Tuesday 4 January, at 3.25 pm on Rai3, the program Tu che scendi dalle stelle will be broadcast, conducted by the journalist Simona Vanni who, accompanied by Father Enzo Fortunato, will propose a trip to three significant places that express spirituality in an intense and strong way of Christmas: Bethlehem, where, in the night of the nights, the history of Christian civilization was born; Greccio, where St. Francis of Assisi invented the first Nativity scene in 1223; and Scala, the oldest town on the Amalfi Coast, where Sant'Alfonso Maria de 'Liguori found inspiration, among shepherds, caves and flocks, for the composition of what would become the most famous Christmas carol: Tu che scendi dalle Stelle.
The following took part in the Christmas story: the Bishop of Rieti, Mons. Domenico Pompili, Father Ibrahim Faltas, the singers Al Bano and Giovanni Caccamo, the art critic Vittorio Sgarbi and the sociologist Domenico De Masi.
Everyone will reveal their suggestions and memories related to the Nativity and Christmas.
Among the guests also the cellist Stjepan Hauser, who will perform an unpublished version of the piece 'Tu che scendi dalle stelle' from Scala.
