(ANSA) - VENICE, 04 JAN - There are 16,602, a new record for the region, the new Covid infections recorded in the last 24 hours in Veneto and 28 deaths.
The bulletin of the Region reports it.
The rise in cases is also due to the increase in tracking activity, with over 153,227 swabs made yesterday.
The total of infected since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 686,879, that of victims to 12,445.
Currently positive people are 124,359.
The hospital situation is now heavy: Covid-cured patients in the medical area rise to 1,366 (+50), and those in intensive care to 209 (+9), for a total daily increase of 59. (ANSA).
