There are always days when you would like to quit your job and start something new.
This question will show you when it actually happens.
Everyone has a bad day at work, is annoyed with the boss * or colleagues, or is annoyed by a certain task.
But that doesn't have to be a reason to throw in the towel immediately.
Eight questions that you should ask yourself show whether you are actually ready for a new position, as career expert and recruiter Tami Rosen
once
explained
to the digital information service Quora,
according to the
inc.com
portal
.
Just a bad day or time to change jobs?
These questions will help you
“A mentor once told me that you can quickly find out if you have the right job by counting the good and bad days you have in your current job.
If the good days far outweigh the bad, you are probably in the right place, ”said Rosen.
However, in her opinion, the topic has not yet been considered sufficiently mature.
It takes
time, introspection and a willingness to ask difficult questions to
find out if you are in the right job.
According to Rosen, the
following
eight questions
provide information about this:
How motivated are you to go to work every day?
Are you passionate about your work?
Do you feel like you are making a difference?
Is the job a challenge?
Do you learn something and grow from it?
Do you have ambitions to take on more responsibility?
Do you enjoy working with the people in your team and in the company?
Do you agree with the company's values?

Why are these questions important when considering a job change?
The first three questions will help you find out whether you enjoy your work at all and whether you feel that it is making a difference.
Because if you only go to work to earn money, but
do not experience any joy or enrichment
, this can quickly lead to frustration - after all, you spend a large part of the day at work.
Questions 4 to 6 should give you a feeling for whether there is a future for you in the company.
If you are actually in a management position or want to develop yourself, but are not offered this opportunity by your employer, it may be time to look around for another company.

The last two questions will tell you how things are going with
your environment and the company's values
.
If you only extend your elbows among your colleagues and there is no togetherness, it can quickly become exhausting.
In addition, the company's values should match your own - so that you can work there with a clear conscience.
