(ANSA) - LONDON, JANUARY 04 - The 2021 blood toll of stabbings (or other forms of murder) recorded in London with underage victims is 30 dead: a plague, often linked to that of showdowns or fragang brawls of young and very young people, which has afflicted the British capital in increasing proportion like other cities in the United Kingdom for a decade or more. This was reported by the PA agency on the sidelines of the indictment today of a 16-year-old arrested by Scotland Yard in recent days and accused of killing - blade in hand - a peer of the same age in the suburbs of the metropolis on Thursday 30 December: the last 'fallen' recorded in this sort of war in the year just ended.
The alleged teenage killer appeared this morning before a juvenile judge at the Ealing Youth Court to validate the arrest.
His name was not disclosed in respect of the very strict protection accorded in the Reign of the weeding on the identity of the arrested until their formal indictment;
and to minors even after, during the entire trial phase.
