Work: companies expect 458,000 hires in January

(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 04 - There are just under 458 thousand work contracts scheduled by companies in January will rise to about 1.2 million in the January-March quarter with an increase, compared to the same period last year, respectively of 112 thousand on January 2021 and + 265 thousand compared to the quarter January-March 2021. The comparison was also positive compared to December 2021, with 104 thousand more contracts (+ 29.4%), for all economic sectors except for tourism where the growing uncertainties related to to the progress of the epidemic.
