Can you make Bolognese in a Thermomix?

This recipe promises real taste.

A good Bolognese * simmer for a long time in order to achieve a lot of flavor and a great consistency.

So actually an ideal dish for the Thermomix, but can it even taste good without the searing function?

The following recipe for

Bolognese from the Thermomix

promises the taste of a classic Bolognese from the stove with minimal effort.

Bolognese from the Thermomix: you need these ingredients

for 4 servings

  • 1 onion, halved

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1 large carrot, cut into large pieces

  • 50 g celery, cut into pieces (alternatively: celeriac)

  • 15 g olive oil (you get the best at this discounter)

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed

  • 2 fresh tomatoes, cut into pieces

  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes (400 g)

  • 50 g tomato paste

  • 70 g red wine, dry (alternatively: semi-dry)

  • Instant meat stock for 500 ml

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar

  • 2 heaped teaspoons of salt

  • 1 level teaspoon paprika powder, noble sweet

  • 2 teaspoons oregano, dried

  • 1 teaspoon thyme, dried

  • 2 bay leaves, dried

How to prepare the Bolognese in the Thermomix

  • Put the halved onion, the garlic cloves, the carrot and the celery in the mixing bowl and chop everything

  • Add the olive oil and sauté everything

    simmer gently in the Thermomix for 30 minutes / 100 ° C / Left run / Level 1.
