All the warnings, signals and alarms have been heard in the last two weeks loudly. They were already listed in white Kiddush letters, but yesterday the government and all its leaders, including the prime minister, health ministry chiefs and administrators, decided to finally abandon their public and moral duty to do everything possible to mitigate Corona's harm to us, the Israelis.
The government's decision means shifting all responsibility for the fight against the plague solely to us, the citizens, while spreading lies as if "everything is under control" and reciting slogans about Israel's good fortune in the fifth wave of the Corona that threatens the entire country.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Health published the new testing and isolation policy, according to which not only have the tests been privatized so that the vaccinated have to buy the tests with their own money, but the main problem is that the new policy is based on such a level of trust and obedience. The outline means that we all, together and separately, have to rely on tens to hundreds of thousands of Israelis a day, who will perform corona tests on their own home, and that if they are positive, they will undergo another MDA or Home Front command check, then they will voluntarily stay in isolation for ten days. Any documentation, supervision and control, much less than the loose control that exists today.
The privatization and abandonment of corona testing and corona isolation means that the government abandons the health of us all, and each man is left to fend for himself, his family and loved ones, and there can be no more horrible and tragic situation than a global epidemic that has already struck a fifth wave of cruel and deceptive virus.
And even if the omicron corona does cause much less severe disease in many of those infected - and evidence and data from the UK, the US and South Africa are inconclusive, and there are new findings on severe mortality and unprecedented serious harm to children - it is still the state's duty There has always been an attempt to do everything possible to moderate the spread of the plague, and to try to reduce the cruel harm to many who may become seriously ill and die.

One of the main reasons why the government is not willing to impose any restrictions is because of the wind - on the verge of corona denial and opposition to vaccines by some ministers, and because of the government's escape from paying compensation to victims of corona restrictions in business, culture, sports, etc.
