Twitch star Trymacs is known for expensive purchases.

He has now spent over 5000 euros on an old sweater.

But there is a good reason behind this.

Hamburg - Larger expenses are nothing new for the Internet star Trymacs *.

The streamer * regularly spends insane sums of money on supposed everyday stuff, for example for Pokémon cards * or players in FIFA 22 *.

His latest purchase, however, should cause some questioning faces.

Recently Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler proudly announced in a livestream that he had spent 5000 euros - to bid for an old sweater from YouTuber Rezo.

But there is a good reason behind the large sum.

Of course, Trymacs didn't just buy any old Rezo sweater via a second-hand platform. There is some prestige behind the orange hoodie that the streamer bought from his YouTube colleague. If you think of an orange sweater and the name Rezo, you will quickly remember his viral video “The Destruction of the CDU”.

With his almost one-hour billing with the party, Rezo caused quite a stir in the media in 2019. To date, “The Destruction of the CDU” has generated almost 20 million views and even the party itself was forced to react to the video. With the “Destruction 2.0” by Rezo *, a second part finally followed in 2021, a few months before the federal election. Trymacs now owns the sweater from the first, now practically legendary, video.

After all, Trymacs has previously spent over € 26,000 on its FIFA 22 team *.

In this case, however, there is more to it than that.

Rezo made the hoodie available as part of a Viva Con Agua auction.

The charity organization uses the money to build new wells in countries with insufficient water supplies.

Trymacs: Streamer encourages more viewers to donate

Trymacs itself has actually not accepted any private donations via Twitch for years.

From now on, donations are possible again via his Twitch channel, these also go to Viva Con Agua.

The streamer has currently set a target of € 10,000 and has announced in a livestream that he will be able to witness and document the construction of the wells himself.

The only prerequisite for this is that the € 10,000 in donations must also be reached.
