Vaccination certificates can be recorded in an app free of charge.

Practical because the smartphone is usually at hand.

However, uploading does not always go smoothly.

The 2G regulation, for example in restaurants, requires proof of a vaccination or health certificate. These can be presented quickly and easily using an app. To do this, you have to search for the app of your choice in the smartphone playstore and download it.

After the vaccination certificates have been successfully scanned, clicking on the app leads to a QR code that can easily be scanned in a restaurant or shop.

The apps that are available free of charge include the CovPass, Corona Warning and Luca apps.

If you do not have a smartphone or would just like to use another way to prove your corona vaccinations, you have the option of buying a so-called immune card.

It can be carried in the wallet in credit card format and is already

available in many pharmacies for 9.90 euros.

Create vaccination certificate in Corona app: Here's how

The CovPass app is one of the most frequently used app that can display the vaccination or recovery status via smartphone.

This can be downloaded from the app store.

It is important that you enable the access rights for your camera when installing the app, because this is necessary if you have to enter the QR code on your vaccination certificate.

Open the app and click on “Scan QR Code”.

If you have had several vaccinations, scan the certificates you received from the doctor or pharmacist in chronological order - the oldest first.

After successful scanning, your vaccination certificate is digitized and valid.

But errors can also occur when creating

.

You should be puzzled if the following situations arise:

  • When a follow-up vaccination certificate is scanned, a new digital vaccination certificate is created in the app:

If you record a second or third vaccination in the app, the old certificate must always be updated. If a second certificate with a new QR code is created in the app, you have probably received an incorrect vaccination document, possibly with the wrong date of birth or a misspelled name. You can tell whether a second vaccination certificate has been created if you can swipe left or right and the vaccination certificate changes, according to the technology

    Chip.de.

In this case, a new vaccination certificate must be issued. To do this, go to a pharmacy and show your vaccination certificate and identity card.

  • The vaccination certificate cannot be saved:

A very simple tactic often helps in this case.

    Delete and reinstall the app.

Sometimes the cause of the problem lies in the QR code itself: If it is blurry or kinked - for example because you carried the analog vaccination certificate around in your pocket for too long - you can simply get a new vaccination certificate from the pharmacy.

(The vaccination book and your identity card must be presented there)
