(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 05 JAN - GhislaineMaxwell's lawyers have asked to cancel the trial in which she was found guilty of sex trafficking of minors and to instruct a new one after the revelation in the media that two jurors would have told during the council chamber that they were also been victims of abuse, to convince the rest of the jury.
For the defense, these are "irrefutable reasons" for a new trial, after the one that saw her accused of soliciting girls for the abuses of her ex-boyfriend, the late financial officer Jeffrey Epstein.
