The Hanover Regional Court has sentenced a former after-school care worker who has sexually abused girls for years to eight years in prison.
The man was found guilty of serious sexual abuse in three cases in connection with the abuse of wards, as a spokeswoman for the court announced (Ref .: 31 KLs 13/21).
In addition, according to the information, there was sexual abuse of children in 34 cases, of which 33 were affected.
The 41-year-old was originally accused of 120 acts between 2004 and 2020.
Some attacks are said to have occurred when the man was tutoring children in his apartment or when they visited him at home.
The convict was therefore working as a carer in a day care center in Hanover.
According to the spokeswoman, his extensive confession was rated in favor of the 41-year-old.
As a result, some of the victims would not have had to testify in the trial.
