A fashion show called "Bad Babad" will take place starting tomorrow (Friday) for a week on Herzl Street in Tel Aviv, produced by the municipality.
The exhibition, curated by Yoav Meir and Gili Sivan Cohen, features 11 designers who designed spectacular clothing items from upholstery fabrics from stores on Herzl Street.
The models, along with the furniture, will stand in the shop windows along the street.
The designers participating in the exhibition are: Yaron Minkowski, Reuma Zakash, Sharona Sharvit, Yoav Meir, Assaf Fern, Kay Long, Kobi Golan, Eden Ben Ami, Bethel Bar Giora, Dana Sidi and Chen Bar Khalifa.

"The idea to design upholstery clothes came from the thought that fabrics are a part of our lives, upholstery, bedding, curtains and of course clothes," say the curators of the exhibition.
"The thought was to see if a fabric that had a specific use could fit into something else as well. Each designer took the fabric in the direction and style that characterized it. They were given fabrics with no choice and designed clothes from them according to their talent and the nature of the fabric."

"The meeting between the shop owners and the works of the fashion designers was very exciting, and the owners of the furniture stores were very curious to see what the designers would do with the fabrics," they say.
The models of the exhibition will stand together with the furniture in the shop windows along the street.
