Not only are the various creations increasing every year, the prices are also exploding.
In November 2021, coffee prices on the international market reached a 10-year high, and the pound was quoted at 2.50 US dollars in early December.
The price for Brazilian natural products shot up the most; compared to the previous year it more than doubled and rose by 105.7%.

Coffee prices soaring: 2021 will replace low-price years
According to statistics, the German consumer drinks almost 170 liters of coffee per person per year.
Coffee is thus one of the most popular drinks in Germany, but at the same time it is one of the most expensive.
Two types of beans or coffee groups are grown worldwide, Robusta and Coffea Arabica.
The most important growing areas include the South American countries Brazil and Colombia, while Indonesia and Vietnam are also gaining in importance.
Due to the expansion of production, the coffee harvest has increased steadily in recent years, which has pushed the price down.
The market shock then followed in the coffee year 2021/22: prices exploded after four previous years of low prices.
Coffee as expensive as it was 10 years ago: Growing countries suffer from frost and drought

Retail increases in prices: Arabica coffee beans are more expensive
