(ANSA) - PALERMO, 07 JAN - "Yesterday was certainly among the worst days since the Covid emergency began in March 2020. Our department is full, with all unvaccinated patients".
This was stated by Baldo Renda, the director of the intensive care unit of the 'Cervello' hospital in Palermo.
"We were forced to transfer intubated patients to the Partinico hospital, because only these two hospitals in Palermo currently have Covid intensive care".
Currently, 16 non-intensive places are available in the 'Cervello' hospital in Palermo, while 14 in Partinico (ANSA).
